Qualification Required for Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment

Eligibility Criteria:

• Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India.

• Marital Status: Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

• Educational Qualifications: The required qualifications vary depending on the branch/cadre applied for:

• Executive Branch:

• General Service (GS(X))/Hydro Cadre: BE/B.Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.

• • • Pilot: BE/B.Tech in any discipline with at least 60% marks. Additionally, candidates must have 60% aggregate marks in both Class X and XII and a minimum of 60% marks in English in Class X or XII.
    • Naval Air Operations Officer (Observer): BE/B.Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. Candidates should also have 60% aggregate marks in Class X and XII and at least 60% marks in English in Class X or XII.
    • Air Traffic Controller (ATC): BE/B.Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. Candidates must have 60% aggregate marks in Class X and XII and a minimum of 60% marks in English in Class X or XII.
    • Logistics: BE/B.Tech in any discipline with First Class, or MBA with First Class, or B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc (IT) with First Class along with a PG Diploma in Finance/Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Material Management, or MCA/M.Sc (IT) with First Class.

• • Technical Branch:

    • Engineering Branch (General Service): BE/B.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks in relevant disciplines.
    • Electrical Branch (General Service): BE/B.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks in relevant disciplines.
    • Naval Constructor: BE/B.Tech in relevant disciplines with at least 60% marks.

  • Education Branch: M.Sc, BE/B.Tech in relevant disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks.
