Age Limit Required for Cochin Shipyard Limited Recruitment 2022

To apply for the Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) Recruitment, the candidates are required to attain the following age limit. Only notified aged candidates only can able to apply for this job vacancy.

• The upper age limit prescribed for the posts shall not exceed 35 years as on 06 June 2022, i.e. applicants should be born on or after 07 June 1987.
• The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates & 5 years for SC/ST candidates, in posts reserved for them.
• Age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government of India guidelines. However, in no case, age limit after applying all age relaxations shall exceed 50 years.
• Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government of India guidelines, calculated by deducting the period of military service from the actual age and adding three years thereto, subject to a maximum age of 45 years.

Laboratory Assistant (Chemical)	Graduate (B.Sc) in Chemistry from a recognized University securing minimum of 60% of marks. Minimum four years post qualification experience in metallurgical analysis in any Laboratory.
Store Keeper	Graduate with Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management OR Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical). Minimum four years post qualification experience in storekeeping.
Junior Commercial Assistant	Three year Diploma in Commercial Practice from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks. Minimum four years post qualification experience
Assistant	Bachelor’s Degree in Arts (other than Fine Arts/ Performing Arts) or Science or Commerce or Computer Applications or Business Administration. Minimum four years post qualification experience.
Welder-Fitter (Welder/ Welder (Gas & Electric), Plumber, Mechanic Motor Vehicle/ Mechanic Diesel, Fitter, Sheet Metal Worker)	Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate) and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the relevant trade Minimum five years post qualification experience.
